Established in 1959 where at first it served as the classroom cum office of Jorhat Engineering College,this hostel has produced superb technocrats who are serving and had served in various fields in last fifty glorious years.It became a full fledged hostel from 1961 and since than it has been a home away from home for the students of various parts of assam as well as india.
Since this home has served us for the past fifty years so its our turn to celebrate the "GOLDEN JUBILEE" of our abode.
We require the full co-operation and help of every present and past boarders of this hostel to make it a grand success.
